This week thoughts are from Terry Knipple.
This past year has been tough on my wife and I. Between Covid, a scary car accident, an accident skiing, and multiple quarantines, it had its moments that have challenged us. But we have learned from it. To embrace the joys of everyday life, instead of getting depressed or frustrated, choosing each night to pray over what we are grateful for.
To be honest we have noticed many Christians have had their joy stolen during this time because we get focused on things that are out of our control. So we have learned to find our joy in what we can. Getting outdoors with our grandkids.
My new definition for joy is simply this: no fears, no trouble, just live. Knowing Jesus is Alive and with me every moment, every day.
““Why are you frightened?” he asked. “Why are your hearts filled with doubt?”
