So as we celebrate Thanksgiving weekend, I can’t help but sit back and think upon the Goodness of God. Yet today something was different, instead of bringing to mind specific people or blessings in my life, God directed my heart to the outdoors. The evidence of who He is through His creation. The waves in the summer continually whispering “I love you” as they flow one after the next. To the changing leaves that we experienced this fall, reminding us all that God himself paints the ultimate masterpiece. Then to my favorite time of year when the first snowfall takes place, and every snowflake is it’s own masterpiece. Finally, you can’t forget spring with the budding of new life. God showing off in all His glory through His creation. Yet how easy is it for us to take for granted. Take a moment today to thank God for the different, nontraditional ways He has shown up in your life.
“For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God.”
Romans 1:20 NLT
